Holiday in Jordan
Day 1: Arrival Amman Airport – Amman Hotel
Upon arrival at Amman Airport. Then transfer to your hotel in Amman for overnight.
Day 2: Amman Hotel – Umm Qais – Jerash – Ajloun –Madaba hotel
We start our day. After breakfast .we drive two hours from Amman to Gadara (Umm Qais), which belonged to the famous Decapolis, a union of 10 cities founded by Alexander the Great. Here you have an overwhelming view over the north Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee. From here we drive to the Islamic castle Ajloun with panorama views to the Jordan Valley We leave to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit Oval Plaza, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis… Overnight Madaba hotel.
Day 3: – Madaba – Mt Nebo -– baptism site- Dead Sea Beach – Madaba
We start our day. After breakfast, visit Madaba, to see the famous mosaic 6th-century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. We head to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died… Then we drive to baptism site which is situated on the banks of the Jordan River, flowing forth from the Sea of Galilee, the baptismal site of Yardenit welcomes over half a million tourists and pilgrims annually who come to experience the spirituality and pastoral beauty of the waters of the River Jordan, in which Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. After that we drive to the Dead Sea which is the lowest point on earth, in the Dead Sea, you have leisure time and the chance to float on water. Overnight in Madaba
Day 4: Madaba – Mukawer – king’s way – Karak castle – Dana
We start our day After breakfast leave hotel & driver to Mukawir, the hilltop stronghold of Herod the Great, King of Judea. His son Herod Antipas inherited the fortress. He ordered here the beheading of John the Baptist after Salome’s fateful dance. Driving along the famous ancient caravan route the King’s Way. we continue to Kerak.In Kerak visit the famous Crusader castle built in 1132/34 by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem. Continue to Dana for overnight
Day 5: Hike Dana – Wadi Feynan
We start our day .after breakfast. Dana Nature Reserve is characterized by a chain of valleys and mountains which extend from the top of the Jordan Rift Valley down to the desert lowlands of Wadi Araba. Today, the hike of about 6 hours, shows you the beauty and various nature of the area. The tour ends in Wadi Feynan, where 3000 years ago copper had been mined and worked up. Overnight in the Feynan Eco Lodge in the middle of the desert.
Day 6: Wadi Feynan – Namala – Little Petra – Petra Hotel
We start our day. after breakfast go on by 4×4 Jeep off-road to Wadi Namala, the connection to Little Petra. We have panorama views over the surrounding mountains there and certainly pay a visit to Little Petra, in Nabatean times the meeting point for the camel caravans. A short ride takes us to Petra. We will a half-day tour in Petra. Check-in our hotel. Overnight in Petra hotel
Day 7: Petra Visit – Petra Hotel
We start our day. after breakfast visit, red rose city Petra, Jordan’s biggest attraction. Petra was established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabatean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire. From the Visitor’s Center, we walk to the Siq, the narrow canyon, and go on to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Stroll along the Street of Facades and the Theatre to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. Overnight in Petra.
Day 8: Petra – Wadi rum
We start our day. after breakfast. move to moon valley we will go to visit Lawrence’s spring for a shortstop. Our next site is Khazali Canyon where you will see the ancient inscriptions. We will walk through the canyon for half an hour and then we will drive to the small arch. Then we go to Um Fourth Arch where we will walk to the top. Then we drive to Burdah Rock Bridge where we will stop for lunch and rest for two hours. This is free time to do what you want. After the picnic lunch, we will drive you to Burrah Canyon, dropping you off at the opening to the canyon, giving you ample time to walk through to the other side, where we will be waiting for you. It takes about one and a half hours to hike through the beautiful canyon, with red and white sand dunes and high mountains walls.
When you finish your walk we stop to rest and drink tea. Refreshed, we will continue to the camp where you will relax around a campfire and enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner overnight in camping
Day 10: Wadi rum- Aqaba
We start our day .after breakfast we drive to the red sea resort Aqaba where you have the opportunity to spend a full day at the red sea for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling after a long and tiring journey in the desert. Overnight in Aqaba
Day 11: Aqaba Hotel – Amman Airport
We start our day .after breakfast. we go to privet beach relaxing until after noon time than departure time transfer to Amman airport to say farewell and board your flight.
